TAMMY ANDERSON, 2026 TEACHING FELLOW

16 September 2026

Mr GREG WARREN (Campbelltown)—I acknowledge the outstanding achievement of Tammy Anderson from Briar Road Public School, who has been selected as a Teaching Fellow in the 2026 Schools Plus Teaching Awards. This prestigious national recognition celebrates exceptional educators who are transforming learning outcomes for students in disadvantaged communities through their commitment, innovation and leadership. Tammy Anderson is one of just 13 educators from across Australia chosen to receive a 2026 Teaching Fellowship through the Schools Plus Teaching Awards. The Fellowship includes professional learning opportunities, participation in a 12 month leadership program, and funding to support educational initiatives that will benefit her school community. This achievement is a testament to Tammy's dedication to her students and her commitment to ensuring every child has the opportunity to succeed. It is also a proud moment for the entire Briar Road Public School community and for Campbelltown. I congratulate Tammy on this well‑deserved recognition and thank her for the invaluable contribution she continues to make to public education and the lives of young people in our community.
