The ASSISTANT SPEAKER (Mr Jason Li): I acknowledge the guests in the public gallery. Welcome to the New South Wales Parliament.
Mr GREG WARREN (Campbelltown) (21:19): I too acknowledge the guests in the gallery, who are guests of my good friend the member for Macquarie Fields. I also welcome the newfound interest of the member for North Sydney in finding a balance when it comes to housing development and the delivery of infrastructure.
Ms Felicity Wilson: Point of order—
Mr GREG WARREN: Under the standing orders, points of order cannot be taken during private members' statements.
The ASSISTANT SPEAKER (Mr Jason Li): Points of order can be taken during private members' statements. I will hear the point of order.
Ms Felicity Wilson: Mr Assistant Speaker, I ask you to remind the member for Campbelltown that my proper title is the member for North Shore, not the member for North Sydney.
The ASSISTANT SPEAKER (Mr Jason Li): I remind the member for Campbelltown to refer to other members by their correct title.
Mr GREG WARREN: They are all the same up there. She was a member of a government that shovelled all the houses in west and south-west Sydney—in Campbelltown, Camden, Macquarie Fields—with no investment. It was an absolute disgrace. As I said, I welcome her newfound interest in finding the balance, because it simply did not happen when those opposite were in government and had the opportunity to do so.
Ms Felicity Wilson: Point of order: I note that the member's time has expired.
The ASSISTANT SPEAKER (Mr Jason Li): The time of the member for Campbelltown has expired.
