Mr GREG WARREN (Campbelltown)—It was a privilege to recently join the John Warby Public School community in celebrating the school's 50th anniversary, a remarkable milestone reflecting five decades of learning, achievement and community spirit. The celebrations brought together current students, staff, families and, most notably, a large number of former teachers and students who returned to honour the school's rich history. Their presence was a powerful reminder of the lasting impact John Warby Public School has had on generations of local families. Since opening its doors in 1976, John Warby Public School has played a vital role in educating and supporting young people across our community. The school's name also serves as an enduring link to the Warby family, whose pioneering legacy remains an important part of the history of the Campbelltown region. I was honoured to speak with members of the Warby family at the celebrations, and thank them for their contribution. Congratulations to Principal Troy King, the staff, students, families and everyone who has contributed to the success of John Warby Public School over the past 50 years. I look forward to seeing what happens in the next 50.
