Mr GREG WARREN (Campbelltown)—I would like to recognise and thank Anthony Cowley, a well known Campbelltown accountant, who upon his passing has bequeathed $1.25 million to Western Sydney University, the largest amount ever left to WSU in it's 35 year history. This bequest will help establish endowed scholarships, ensuring perpetual support for students studying accounting and medicine. These include two undergraduate scholarships titled Anthony Cowley and Margaret June Cowley Scholarships in Accounting, and a PhD scholarship titled Anthony Cowley and Margaret June Cowley PhD Scholarship in Medicine. This gift will continue to support education in the South Western Sydney Region and will make a tangible difference to the lives of students. Once again, thank you to Anthony Cowley and his family for this incredible and life changing bequest.
