Mr GREG WARREN (Campbelltown)—I would like to recognise Alanna Kennedy and the Matildas on their exceptional campaign at the recent Asia cup, where they fought to the final match before ultimately going down to a fantastic Japanese side. The Matildas once again did our country proud, and the support for them has been absolutely palpable throughout the tournament. I would especially like to recognise Alanna Kennedy, a proud Campbelltown local who attended Rosemeadow Primary School and played for the Campbelltown Cobras and Macarthur Rams in her youth. Alanna was named the MVP of the tournament on the back of a positional swap and an incredible goalscoring run which saw her find the back of the net five times. Alanna is a wonderful community advocate who does our Campbelltown and Macarthur region proud every time she takes the field, and I cannot wait to see her continue to go from strength to strength on the international stage. Congratulations again to Alanna and the Matildas on a wonderful tournament, the whole of Campbelltown and Australia is always behind you.
